The agreement allows for the joining of forces to promote the various social projects that the organization has underway in Sant Boi and the Baix Llobregat region.
Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona), February 9, 2022. - Àltima has renewed the collaboration agreement it maintains with the Marianao Foundation. This agreement aims to support the work of accompanying and empowering children, youth, and adults to build a more organized, cohesive, and inclusive community in Sant Boi and the rest of the Baix Llobregat region. The signing ceremony was attended by Josep Ventura, General Director of Funeral Services at Àltima, Enrique Agustín, Manager of Àltima in L'Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat, and Daniel Osiàs, Director of the Marianao Foundation.
Based in Sant Boi and with a century-long presence in the municipality and Baix Llobregat, Àltima has been supporting the Marianao Foundation for years. In this regard, Enrique Agustín from the funeral company highlighted "the importance of these collaborations to improve people's lives in the region, with the aim of achieving a more just and equal society, while also fostering the commitment of citizens to social responsibility." Meanwhile, from the Marianao Foundation, Daniel Osiàs stated that "with this agreement, we join forces to promote the employment of vulnerable groups, psychosocial support for families, and corporate volunteering, fostering corporate social responsibility."
For over 40 years, the Marianao Foundation has been promoting various socio-educational projects aimed at the entire community—children, youth, and adults—especially for groups at high social risk. The organization, which operates mainly in Sant Boi and the Baix Llobregat region, works for the well-being of children and families, for the educational success of young people, for the social inclusion of people at risk of exclusion, and for community development and citizen participation.
